Capable of comfortably handling keeled, flat-bottomed and multi-hull vessels up-to 130 tonnes, 25 metres in length, Nelson Slipway is a very well used haul-out facility catering to light commercial and recreational boat owner’s needs.
Nelson Slipway is sheltered inside Nelson’s 13km long boulder bank, and has easy access to central Nelson city, just 20 minutes’ walk away.
Marine Engineers, marine painters, marine electricians marine electronics, boat builders, upholsterers and marine suppliers are all close to, or adjoining the slipway.

Filming
Built for the Nelson Harbour Board and opened in 1968,
the slipway will comfortably handle keeled and multi-hull

Ltd is a subsidiary company of Marine & General Engineering (Nelson) Ltd.
Nelson Slipway operates 12 months a year.
